Dame Angela Lansbury wins first Olivier Award, aged 89

Dame Angela took home her Olivier for best actress in a supporting role, to honour her return to the London stage after a four-decade absence

British-American actress Angela Lansbury poses with the award for best actress in a supporting role for her work on play 'Blithe Spirit' during the Lawrence Olivier Awards for theatre at the Royal Opera House in central London on April 12, 2015

Penelope Wilton, star of Downton Abbey, made it sixth time lucky as she picked up a best actress award after six nominations dating back to 1981.

I am not into celebrity and all that but I love this lady, she's had such a long career for actually having talent rather than being the owner of a massive ass and she's classy and as close to royalty as you can get. I've already lost Joan Rivers I could never lose Angela. If only I had the money as well as somebody to go with - - to the States with to see her plays as well as Broadway in general.

Well done and how amazing for 89.

    Thoughts?
