    Default Randomers adding my Skype

I don't know what it is, but it's getting on my last nerve. Every day, I have random (and rather old) men add me on Skype. 9/10 say they are from the USA and are (supposedly) lieutennants or some other rank in the army. The rest of them tell me 'sad' stories about their dead wives (?!) and sons to draw me in; which is okay, IF THEY DIDN'T ALL HAVE THE EXACT SAME STORY. Here's a message that one of them sent:

Enter a message to introduce yourself.
Compliment of the season,I am Mark Milley from united state hi I came across your profile here and it seems so interesting, intriguing and pleasing, so i decided to write you for some communication to know if we can be friends or something more, firstly let me ask you this quick thick one ;Are you still single?I wait for your response on my email:[email protected], Thanks
    Mark.
well i am a widower , i just lost my wife 3 years ago...and she was very caring, lovely and in fact, she was my everything until i got a call one day while i was on a mission in South Sudan that my wife was involved in a ghastly motor accident........before i knew it i got another call from same hospital that she has drop dead...i was so confused and frustrated , but just had to hope in God as she left me with my one and only child, Alex is his name......i love that my son so much...he is all i work and live for ....i really missed him...for 3 years now..i haven't hugged him or pecked him due to the nature of my job..i have been on a mission here in South Sudan for 3 years now...and haven't been back home and haven't seen my son..we only communicated via email
All of them begin with asking to be friends, and whenever I ask where they found my Skype, they say they just 'came across it in the Skype directory' or were 'looking for old friends and came across me'. This is utter buuulll. It'd be alright if it was one every few months, but EVERY SINGLE DAY I get a Lt John Campbell, a James Eastwood, a Sgnt John Sanderson add me on Skype. Seriously, it sounds like my Skype name's been added to some Match.com profile but you'd think I'd get a little more than 50 year old servicemen adding me.

Obviously they didn't just find me via Skype directory. I don't want to change my Skype because of all of the HabboxLive and manager chats that I'm in on there and it's just a pain to add new people. I need to find out where my profile is. Seriously, 100c to anyone who can find out where these men are getting my skype. My Skype name's stentato if you want to have a look.

I did assume that one of my friends was trolling me at first, but they're all too lazy to be that persistent. Obviously I can just decline and ignore, but it's a bit difficult when I use skype for so much stuff. HELP ME?

What makes you think it's multiple people.

If they all have the same story, I'd point to it being one person. Probably a spam bot that'll eventually try to give you a link.

Are they responsive? like if you ask something do they give a proper reply every time, or is it half nonsense?

I thought that too, but I tried talking to one of them for a while and they didn't give any links. Just the same old 'I found your Skype', 'I want to be friends', 'do you want a relationship' so I'm not sure.

I only just noticed the responsive question, so quick edit. They are and aren't. They give the same answers, really. Like... here's a small bit of a convo:

[23:05:15] Lt John Campbell: hello how are you doing today
[23:05:29] Kimmy: I'm good, who are you?
[23:06:25] Lt John Campbell: I am Lt john campbell from U.S.A
[23:06:31] Kimmy: Where did you get my Skype name?
[23:06:37] Lt John Campbell: And you
[23:07:49] Lt John Campbell: I'm Sorry I intruded into your concealment but I came across your profile here on Skype,
[23:09:43] Lt John Campbell: you look so amazing, I was interested in you as I decided to add you as friend and you are the type of woman a man won't let go off at first sight. Hope you don't mind my friendship?
    friendship?
[23:10:01] Kimmy: What site did you find my Skype name on?
[23:11:43] Lt John Campbell: Skpe data base
    [23:17:56] Kimmy: I don't think so.

Just like what I said to Scot, I've no idea what they're going for. I'll ask the next one if they have an xBox.

Spambots. Just remove/block or don't add them in the first place!

Just don't accept / block em. I used to get loads of girls adding me trying to link to me to sites. I've had the 'look forward to hearing from you on email' thing too. No idea why they say email them lol

Sometimes I get them but they all claim to be businessmen from the UK. On occasion I've had people telling me to send money over to them because they're trapped in some country as well :/ I just don't add someone if I don't recognise them as someone I know anymore.

There are Skype databases that you have to remove yourself from to stop receiving these uninvited adds.
