I'm a big horror fan so love Horror Soundtracks e.g. Suspiria, Dawn of the Dead, Halloween etc. but my taste varies really. Clint Mansell & The Kronos Quartet's soundtrack to the fountain is one I'd recommend, very beautiful

My favourite at the moment has to be the Interstellar soundtrack.

Lots of films have the odd good piece but the Interstellar OST I can listen to from start to finish and not get bored.

All of Hans Zimmer's songs are just amazing, the man is an absolute genius with some kind of profound alien ability to evoke any emotion he wants and really immerse you in the atmosphere of a film. My two childhood favourites have to be The Lion King (Hanz Zimmer/Elton John) and Tarzan (Phil Collins/Mark Mancina). Also Amelie (Yann Tiersen) because it makes me feel like I'm in France and, what I recently discovered was a soundtrack after reading the book, listening to the songs, and being completely unaware of the film, The Graduate (Simon&Garfunkle/Dave Grusin).

I watched Disney's tarzan last night, forgot how much I love the soundtrack in it! Watched The Hunchback of Notre Dame and that was really good too!
