SAM 2 Broadcaster help please.

My SAM2 broadcaster doesn't seem to respond to well with my headsets. Whenever I turn the mic on whilst djing and speak, the music automatically lowers doesn't it, so you can be heard. For the listeners the music is lowered and that is fine, for myself on the other hand it doesn't.

For some unknown reason the music will lower for a few seconds then automatically adjust itself to to increase back to normal, even though i'm speaking. This gets so annoying to the point i have to only use one earphone so i can hear myself talking!

It must be something to do wit my setup on the headset, as my microphone on my laptop is fine, its just when working with my headsets. Any advice or help would be great, thank you!!
