I haven't personally, I know my sister has because we had a Meet and Greet with Nina Nesbitt. She was really appreciative of the gifts she got though! She got her that turtle necklace, apparently they're her favourite animal along with cats.

not exactly bought but i have hand crafted something for a celebrity.

i met holland roden (she plays lydia martin on mtv's teen wolf) and i made her a tiny book made out of hole punched playing cards tied together with ribbon where each card had a different compliment about her on and i put my twitter username on the front card, when i gave it to her she flipped through a few of the cards and she was smiling a lot. she followed me on twitter later that day also which came as a surprise as she only follows like 3 fans on twitter.

honestly i think it's only ever worth giving gifts to celebrities if it's something which will carry meaning to them or if it's small enough for them to fit in their travel case with ease because if not then they're likely to throw it away.
