Default [+REP] BT HOME HUB HELP.

So in my student house we have the BT Home Hub and my devices are on the 2.4ghz band, and they've been really really slow.

A friend has all his on the 5ghz band, I'm wondering how do I change my devices over to the high band, I have access to admin ect.

You could split the different frequencies so you have one 2.4Ghz network and another 5 Ghz network. I think it's under "Wireless Networks". Then you just connect to the 5Ghz network from there. This is dependent on you having a Home Hub 4 or 5 (maybe 3, I came in using the 4).

Alternatively, you could completely reset the router and start again. My Home Hub worked a lot better after a full factory reset.
