Myself. I realised about this time last year that my social anxiety was ruining my life and decided to sort it out properly. I've never consciously changed for anyone else although I'm sure I have without noticing

I'd like to believe I've changed for nobody, but I think others would disagree Many times have I pissed people off for remaining impartial in my opinion rather than siding with people because they're "friends", and I'm proud of that.

Sometimes you just have to change yourself from victim to winner, if it is necessary in your situation. For example, if you are surrounded by bad people.

Stupidly my ex.

He got very jealous and paranoid so I stopped talking to a lot of my friends as they are pretty much all male. Stopped going out, completely changed how I was around people - and the one night in over five months that I went out without him he kicked off because I had a picture with a friend I've had for years.

I used to show him all my messages, tell him about every conversation no matter how pointless it was with any male and even gave him my iCloud password so he could use Find my Phone to see where I was and show that I wasn't lying to him. He still didn't trust me. Yet he was the one that cheated on me :rolleyes:

So now I change for no one but me. :-)
