The HxF Mole 4 – Task 5: Pyramid Posting

This is a new task for HxF Mole 4.

Please ensure you read these rules carefully to minimise the loss of group VIP.

There are 16 contestants participating in this task.

Below is a pyramid with a base of 16 spaces (one for each contestant!) As the task progresses, one contestant will be eliminated at each level until just one player is remaining.

To add your name to the Pyramid you must post within this thread (any post). The aim of the task is to make a chain from your starting point to the top of the pyramid. The next cell must touch your previous cell in the pyramid. You will automatically be entered into the cell to your upper-left, if this is blocked you will be entered to your upper-right and all other players on your right will be shifted to the right - this is explained in the example.

You do not have to wait for everyone to post to proceed to the next level of the pyramid. You are able to post (again, any post in this thread) in the next level as long as the following conditions have been met:

Rule 1: One other participant has posted since your last post (no double-posting!)
Rule 2: Both cells immediately below the cell you are moving up to have been filled (your new cell is fully supported) and that your move does not cause another player's active cell to shift into an unsupported position.
Rule 3: Your move is valid and not blocked by other participants.

Every time a rule is broken the group will lose 1 day of group VIP from the 10 days available for this task!

Prizes will be awarded for the winner (the player who secures the top cell of the pyramid), second and third place, as well as group VIP.

The maximum group VIP for this task is 10 days.
The winner will receive an exemption.
The participant who comes second will have the choice of either 5 Habbo credits OR 5 days of Individual VIP.
The participant who comes third will get the prize left over after the participant in second has chosen their prize (either 5 Habbo credits OR 5 days of Individual VIP.)

This is an example case with five players (Adam, Bob, Chris, Dave and Ethan).

If Adam posts in the thread first he automatically takes the first cell on the left. If Bob posts second he takes the second cell from the left and so on with Chris posting third, Dave posting fourth and Ethan posting fifth.

Rule 1: All participants EXCEPT Ethan may now post again. Ethan cannot post as he made the last post (no double-posting).

Bob posts – he automatically is placed in the cell to his upper-left. This can be shifted to his upper-right if Adam plays and there is space.

Dave posts - he automatically is placed in the cell to his upper-left.

Rule 2: Bob cannot play at this time. Even though someone else has posted since his last post, Bob’s new cell (his upper-right on level 3) is not supported below on the right-hand side. If he posts now 1 day of group VIP will be lost for this task!

Chris posts - he automatically is placed in the cell to his upper-left.

Rule 2: Bob can now post as his new cell (his upper-right) is supported below by himself and Chris.

Bob posts – he is automatically placed in the cell to his upper-right as it is the only available space.

Adam posts – he is automatically placed in the cell to his upper-right as it is the only available space. This shifts the other participants’ positions on level 2. Ethan is out of the task as there is no space for him to play. If he were to post this breaks Rule 3 and will result in the group losing one day of group VIP.

Dave posts – he is automatically placed in the cell to his upper-left.

Adam posts – he is automatically placed in the cell to his upper-right as it is the only available space. This shifts Bob to the right. Chris is now out as there is nowhere for him to play.

Play continues until the task is complete or the group runs out of group VIP for this task.

On a final note, we will not be posting updated images of the pyramid as play progresses. Nor will we post if you have broken a rule/ made an invalid play and we will not post to inform you that you have done so. We will not post to inform you that a contestant is out of the task. We WILL answer questions and will post when the task is completed or when the group runs out of VIP for this task.

Double-posting will count as a broken rule if the account posting in between is not a HxF contestant or is out of this task @Kardan; and myself are among the posts that are not counted). Remember that a post for a player out of this task results in loss of 1 day of group VIP for this task. For example, if Adam posts, then Chris (out) posts, then Adam posts – Adam has double-posted so loses a day of VIP and Chris is out but has posted which counts as an invalid move and loses another day of VIP.
