I am genuinely curious about this. I was reading an article the other day and it was speaking about how it's apparently harmful to your bread to pop it in the fridge and I had honestly never heard of ANYONE putting their bread in their fridge! Is this like legit a thing???

If you pop it in the fridge, why???

I put our bread in the freezer so it lasts longer but that's it.

no because it collects moisture and goes off quicker. and it stinks out the fridge, my housemate did this and i was constantly binning her bread.

No that's just silly. Even if it was nicer, I would never have the fridge space.

I put rolls in the fridge if I'm staying on my own because they dry out slower but otherwise no, no need for it

Ahh so that's why bread in grocery stores aren't put in fridges, interesting. Well I put bread in the fridge - have grown up doing so. Nothing has ever happened to the bread. To be specific...the bread I eat and put in the fridge is wheat bread. White bread just makes me feel sick lool.
