The HxF Mole 4 – Task 7: Assassination

This task was originally from HxF Mole 3.

The objective is quite simple; as a group you need to reach a target number of post in this thread. And of course, there are going to be rules, after all, you don’t want to be ASSASSINATED by your fellow contestants!

If you can reach 50 posts the group will win 5 days of group VIP for this task.
If you can reach 100 posts the group will win 10 days of group VIP for this task.
If you can reach 150 posts the group will win 15 days of group VIP for this task.
If you can reach 200 posts the group will win 20 days of group VIP for this task.
If you can reach 300 posts the group will win 25 days of group VIP for this task.

The maximum group VIP for this task is 25 days.

So, the rules! If the same contestant posts directly above AND below a post of yours, you are assassinated and are out of this task.

Example 1; Bob posts, Dave posts, Bob posts. Dave is assassinated and is out of the task.

Take care though! Posts from non-HxF Mole 4 forum members, hosts and assassinated players do not count! This means they do not count towards the total post count of the thread when trying to meet the target but ALSO they do NOT count in the assassination protocol.

Example 2; Bob posts, host posts, Dave posts, Bob posts. Dave is assassinated and is out of the task because the host’s post doesn’t count.

Example 3; Bob posts, host posts, Dave posts, assassinated player posts, Bob posts. Dave is assassinated and is out of the task.

And one other rule – no double-posting! You must wait for one other player to post before you can post again. If a double-post does occur, the second, third, fourth etc. post(s) will be treated in the same manner as a host/assassinated player/non-HxF 4 forum member’s post and will not count to the thread count or the assassination protocol.

Simple, right?

How about some extra rewards!

The player that posts the most posts (whilst NOT assassinated) will win an exemption.
The player that assassinates the most players will win an exemption.
The player that becomes the only player left in the task will win an exemption.

If there is a tie for number 1 (most posts), no exemption will be awarded.
If there is a tie for number 2 (most assassinations made) whoever posts the most posts in this thread out of the tied players (whilst NOT assassinated) will win the exemption.
