Default Tattoo after care help pls

Right so today I got my first tattoo and I've been told to take the cling film off after a few hours, clean it and then apply Bepanthen/E45 cream, but I don't want it to dry out over night so should I re wrap it or not? I've had a look around the interwebs and some people say not to and others say i should but IDK. What do you guys suggest? Also is E45 cream as good as Bepanthen?

Well I have no idea about tattoos but I can say that E45 would be fine to use as a substitute for Bepanthen in other situations (like rashes and stuff) so yeah. tbh I would prefer e45 but I guess that's personal preference

can we see this tattoo at some point

I personally used Bepanthen - I have no experience with E45.

I'd apply your cream, and wrap it with cling film and tape before getting into bed - it's not so much now but when it starts scabbing up if you have a bit come off it'll fade the patch - I didn't cover mine while it was scabbed and it was on my trouser line, so I have faded area:

I tried to add a filter to make the faded bit stand out but the whole things faded after these few years. It's the little patch on the right side of the large pad.

With all 5 of mine this is what i would do.
    - Clean with warm soapy water
-Pat dry with a clean towel (never drag the towel across)
    - Apply a thin layer of bepanthen cream (E45 made my arm come out in a rash around tattoo)
    - Wrap in cling film & Do the same again in another few hours..
Keep doing this for few days. All mine hardly peeled or scabbed because i did this.

Honestly I don't think it matters. I had my very first tattoo and of course after you take the cling film off you wash it with warm soapy water. After that I just applied Vaseline lol. That's all I used, my tattoo never dried out and it still looks fab today ! I'm not too sure about wrapping it back up in cling film in needs to heal and all that
