    Basically I've tried to update skype since yesterday but it like won't work and it won't let me open skype or anything!! help

    If the above doesn't work then try the following:

    Uninstall Skype
    Download Skype from the Official Skype Website
    Install Skype

    ctrl+shift+esc, might have skype.exe already running and it's just not responding

    I wonder if it's still the case where Ctrl+Alt+Del has more priority/power (I'm using the wrong words) when you want to kill a specific process or whatever.

    extra step though, man

    i think the only advantage it has is that it gets you out of a crashed game or something quicker

    Ok basically what happened is I shut the laptop screen while it was mid update and it was stuck in update so I told boyfriend and its sorted now ))
