Bombshell Immigration Statistics imminent

Will the embarrassing NI stats revealing the true level of immigration be released tomorrow? With a ‘major intervention’ then lined up by No. 10 for Friday to try to keep the figures off the front pages…

The number of EU nationals given NI numbers has always been significantly higher than official migration stats. 257,000 EU nationals came to Britain in the year to September 2015, yet 630,000 got NI numbers, including 170,000 Romanians. The official figures are a con – the actual level of immigration is over double what the government claims. This is the opening for the Leave campaign to turn the debate onto immigration…
I have known about this for a while but looks like they're having to release them now.

This just about sums it up. Immigration is ranked as the top concern (higher than the economy) now amongst voters with all the major parties promising in their manifestos to take control of immigration. Yet they cannot because EU law would forbid any restrictions on anyone coming from the continent. That includes the uneducated, those with a criminal record and those with large families but without the wage levels needed to support the family meaning they then have to rely on in-work benefits such as child benefit which is then sent back to Poland.

Control over your borders is one of the basic functions of a government and yet we have none to over 400m people. Thoughts?
