    I'd imagine everyones had a group of friends that they then lose contact with or stop talking as much.

    What's came between you and your friends/friendship groups?

    I'd imagine typically for the older people moving locations for uni, work etc will be a big factor in this.

    me and my 7 friends from the same secondary school are very much still best of friends

    obviously everyone has their own shit
    mainly;
    few of them go to distant unis
    another lives with his gf a while away
    slightly different kind of work hours

    best thing that has kept the group alive over the years is having a whatsapp chat
    usually 3-all of us does something every other weekend
    i'm quite grateful for it because i understand sometimes it's easy to lose friends after uni/college and you go into full time work and its difficult for adults to make friends

    Never had many friends at school, the two I had we grew apart as we were in different classes in high school, then those in college we had different classes in our last year. I now have friends from work who I talk to more and socialise with them more, I think it helps actually having something in common with them too.

    Uni being a recent one, we have all gone to different unis and they have different teaching periods so it's hard to meet up.

    When I moved from England to Australia, life just got in the way of keeping in contact with people back there. I rarely have a long conversation with many of my old friends now.

    For me it's most definitely moving around the place. Having lived in Cornwall until I was 13 there was quite a solid group of us that had all grown up together. I have them all on Facebook but I couldn't tell you the last time I spoke to any of them. I was going to arrange to meet up with one next time I'm down but then noticed on Facebook that he's away lmao.

    Then having lived in York for 5 years through secondary school and college developed another fairly steady group but again, no real contact with any of them. I did meet up with one maybe 2 years or so ago but not for long because he had to go to work soon after. Having then lived in Ireland for 3-4 years there was another group developed (mostly people Kelly knew) and because it wasn't so long ago we moved away I do still keep in touch with a few of them and then there's those that you don't keep in touch with but still meet up with when visiting. Now that we're living in Bournemouth, the only people I know are those from work and those that Kelly is friends with but I would class 80% of those at work as friends and the rest I just do not get on with.
