Britain's nuclear defence replacement for the next half a century is expected to pass today in the lower chamber

Question: “Are you prepared to authorise a nuclear strike that could kill hundreds of thousands of men, women and children?”

Theresa May: “Yes.”

Britain's nuclear defence is thus secured for another half a century as well as our global status as one of a handful of nuclear weapon powers.

Logic says this was to continue and I have no issues with the usage if it was a last resort. However I can't see anyone ever using Nuclear Weapons in anger again.
