Default Conservatives soar to 47% in the polls

Conservatives soar to 47% in Ipsos-Mori Poll

In the post-Brexit era the Tories are now polling a huge 18% ahead of Labour as Ukip's vote collapses

    Conservative and Unionist Party 47%
    Labour Party 29%
    Liberal Democrats 7%
    Ukip 6%

If you put those figures into the electoral calculator then you get a Conservative majority of 134 seats. Wow.

Although only one pollster, it does seem like the Ukip vote is now moving over to the Tories.

The PM has said no General Election until 2020 but I don't quite believe it. I think a lot depends on the court case currently underway as to whether the cabinet can use the Royal Perogative to activate Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty. If the High Court rules no and it has to go to Parliament, then pressure will build on the Tory leadership to hold a snap General Election and secure a large majority.

I'll be voting Conservative so I guess my voting change is being reflected in the polls.

    Thoughts?

Good. Definitely the best party to be in power right now - no other party should be anywhere near Downing Street at the moment.

    #Pray4Corbyn

Deserves a hashtag, as the Conservative machine is aggressive, to say the least.

I would normally vote Labour but I'm really not a fan of Jeremy either. So I'm not surprised with this article to be honest.
