Anyone else follow Milo and the Alt-Right movement?

For those who don't know its mainly an American movement that started in response to Social Justice Warriors on the left who've dragged tumblr into the real world. It's really spreading fast across US University campuses and Breitbart (http://www.breitbart.com/) the news website - whose staff work as aides/advisors to Nigel Farage and Donald Trump - has been behind the rise of the Alt-Right with Milo and Trumps now-Senior Counsel Steve Bannon being the figureheads of it.

Basically it's a movement against feminism. Against identity politics. Against political correctness. Against offence taking.

The interview above is really good and worth a watch, given how left wing Channel 4 'News' is. It's funny watching the past few days the mainstream media have been complaining about "Fake News" and "Post-truth politics" when it is them who publish the fake news and post-truth politics and people have really had enough. I read the other day that Breitbart in the US election outperformed in terms of social media shares the likes of CNN and other major networks. A huge factor in Trump's victory.

What Scott said, I don't need to join one band of angry children to oppose another. You don't have to be one or the other like your final question suggests - the whole "with us or against us" thing is a very lefty feminist argument

Originally I didn't like the Alt Right or even Trump. Too crude (even if I do it). But then tbh they're the antidote we need.

Nah if they're about common sense as they claim to be then they shouldn't need a "movement" and daft label to hide behind. They act like they're some ultra intellectual heroes when it's really the same morons who read Realm of Kings and think that people should bow down to them for not having a facebook page
