Default Finally Nintendo reveals it's secret controller...

Nintendo have revealed the controller everyone's been speculating about at the Tokyo Game show (Japan's answer to E3), and they've shocked quite a few people.

The Revolution controller is very much reminiscent of a remote control, with the D-pad and other such buttons positioned accordingly.

It will come with a built in tilt sensor and rumble pack, and will be wireless (pretty obviously ). There's even hints of it having add-ons that will be game or genre specific.

It isn't a remote, it's just shaped like one

I like it alot. As usual it's Nintendo being innovative and beinging something brand new to the games industry. Just imagine: you get a Star Wars game, and you get an add on that turns your controller into a light sabre. With the tilt sensor you can swing it around the room and destroy all the bad guys

I love them so much. It's Nintendo isn't it? You always expect something new.

And the white Revolution looks hot. I'm getting one

And tilt censors, wicked! As someone said, Star wars would be good. But racing, sword fighting and possibly FPS's will be good too!

Wow... there'd be no need for a steering wheel in a driving game. Just turn the control on it's side and tilt it to turn... I never thought of that :d

Just think of the golf games and the fishing sims... :d

You don't have to use the new control anyway (unless the game calls for it). A gamecube controller can be plugged in Or you can turn the control sideways and use it like one of the old Famicom controllers.

And looking at the picture below, first-person shooters are going to work magnificently, possibly even better than the mouse + keyboard combination that works so well on the PC.

And you'll be able to use the control whether you're right or left handed without any fuss.

    We love you Nintendo

Its not too bad I suppose. Its wireless as well so thats another good thing.
I suppose that its better than having a massive fat controller like the Xbox had.
Its nice and thin and sleek, it should be good, but I want to test it for myself when I get the Revolution, then I will decide whethere it is a good controller or not.
