I used to on a regular basis when I did some things I wouldn't want others to trace. (Private Internet Access is its name)

Now, if I want to mask my IP address for any reason, I use Epic Privacy Browser. Completely free.

Nope I don't use a VPN.

Opera has a built in one which I use to bypass sky's blocking of things.

I do also have another one installed as well.

Use Epic Privacy Browser instead. TOR is slow and has nodes that are owned by the government or so I have heard.
