What's your best "We'd love to stay but..." excuse to leave an event?

Has to be our dog excuse, always got to pop on home and check if they're okay! No long nights for us

Probably "it's a long journey back," since I live a fair distance from most of my immediate family. If it's some sort of local gathering, then it'll probably be "I'm tired" or "I have work in a couple of hours."
