It's a fun show if you don't take it remotely seriously. Some of the writing is absolutely terrible and the first season is way too long at over 20 episodes. It fizzles out at around episode 12 and goes massively downhill from there. The main problem with it is Kiefer Sutherland. You can't cast the guy who played one of the most iconic characters in TV history - Jack Bauer - in a political action thriller about government conspiracies and have him be the only character who isn't involved in any of the action.

I really like it! Watched the first episode of season two last night. I've got the whole family watching it and some of my friends.

This show does my head in. It starts off so well but just gets so incredibly boring, every now and then it has a twist that keeps me going through the inevitable boring plot line that follows but overall I just can't help but think this is a poor-mans Homeland.
