Yes, you are reading correctly. The movie, 'The Fast and the Furious 3' will be hitting cinema screens soon.

Believe it or not, it has nothing to do with the first, or the second Fast and Furious movies. The characters, are also new. Vin Diesel (Dom) or Paul Walker (Brian) will not be making an appearance in the movie, as the movie has totally new characters, along with a plot. Not only that, is the fact there will be a new breed of cars. Instead of the American street racers, and the few Japanese performance cars, will be replaced by Jap-style tricked out drifting machines.

A young lad called Shaun that has recently graduated from university, is getting a hard time with local police, so moves to Japan. Shaun regularly visits the streets at night, to find illegal street drifting. Soon, Shaun gets into the scene and becomes a drifter himself. The rest of the plot, however, is for you to find out.

There is currently no release date on the movie, although the producers have started filming recently. The film is rumoured to be released in mid-2006, but no official dates have been planned yet.

pfft,I hate it when film directors cast different characters when they did so well in prequel Meh,and the American street cars were nice,Brian had 2 pretty sweet cars.
