The HxF Mole 5 - Task 18: The Mole's Dossier

This task is not a group task to win money for the group prize fund, but instead an individual task where the prize is information to help you identify the Mole.

Contestants will be given an individual timed task (a puzzle) and contestants will be ranked by their finish time, with the quickest contestant at the top of the list.

The contestant at the top of the list will be presented with two options.
Option one is that they can look in the Dossier to see a true piece of information that will help them narrow down the identity of the Mole.
Option two is that they can not look in the Dossier, but replace the information in the dossier with a piece of information they have chosen. This would be used to mislead other contestants about the identity of the Mole.

The contestant with the next quickest time is given the same choice, and this will continue until the slowest contestant. If a previous contestant has opened the Dossier and taken the information, when the next contestant opens the Dossier, it will be blank. It will continue to be blank until a contestant chooses not to open the Dossier and replace it with a fake piece of information.

No contestant will know where they ranked in the list, so cannot be truly sure if the information is true or not by the time they are offered the Dossier.

The information in the Dossier will be information that narrows down the identity of the Mole, it will not be a statement that says "The Mole is X".

As a twist, contestants have the ability to impact this task by making the timed task for other contestants more difficult.

Each contestant has been given 10 tokens and they can spend them by spending a PM to myself.

4 tokens: Turn another contestants puzzle black and white.
3 tokens: Increase the difficulty of another contestants puzzle.
2 tokens: Remove a fake piece from your own puzzle.
1 token: Add a fake piece to another contestants puzzle.

There is no benefit in not spending all 10 tokens and you can choose which contestant(s) you spend your tokens on.

There is no money available for this task.

Contestants will have this evening to spend tokens. Tomorrow (or before if everyone spends all tokens tonight) contestants will be able to complete their puzzle. Once I have posted that contestants may begin their puzzle, you will need to send a PM to myself saying you are ready to start. Once you are PM'ed your puzzle, your timer will start. Your timer ends at the time you PM your final solution back. The deadline for completing puzzles will be at 8pm BST on Friday 24th April. The handing out of the Dossier will take place during the next Execution Quiz, so you may want to consider delaying your Execution Quizzes until nearer the deadline if you wish to use the information you see in the Dossier.
