Carrying on from the Xbox 360 Report, here is the rundown on the PS3


Playstation 3
The quite bulky and not the best designed console, may look a bit boring compared to the other 2 but the insides are intresting, and isnt that what matters? The accesories that come with this console are fun and are a must, this isnt a games console, it is a home console.

The info
Unfortunatly, unlike the Xbox 360, the PS3 has no built in video memory, and like their other consoles to save a game you need to buy a memory card. But the console can store up to 256MB of video memory. Which is almost half of the Xbox's proposed memory.
A huge improvement on their multiplayer abilities, instead of only 2 players to play on the console alone, now an amazing 7 can play at once! Which beats the other consoles, all the controllers will be wireless, with bluetooth technology you could be quite far from the console until the connection is broke.
Playstation is well known for their backwards compatibility, and yet again you will be able to play PS2 games and original PS games. The console will yet again be able to be postitioned horizontally and verticly. The console will come with amazing features such as, Video Chat, Digital Photo viewing, Digital audio and video.
The eye toy is now improved and has more abilities, the PS3 has been said by sony to be a whole 35 times more powerfull than the PS2, which should be fun too see.

Is it worth getting?
Frankly i wouldnt buy it, but if youre a fan of PS2 you are more than likely to buy it. The graphics are rumoured to be better than Xbox 360's, but the memory isnt. A price isnt set, so i cant comment on value for money. As reported by a few sites, PS2 might of won the last console wars, but this year Playstation has Xbox competiting along the very same lines, and nintendo has gone a totall different way, which could tighten the wars a little more.
