We don’t need no education!



We all spent many years in school, I know some of you young’uns
(not FlyingJesus he left school in 1902)
are returning to school and college after a very long break.

My cheekiest moment in school was writing my own note saying I was going to the dentist when really,
I was leaving early to go see Harry Potter in the cinema!



For this competition, I want to know an interesting story from when you were in school!

The best story is when i faked signatures on the parents book when i was around 10yrs cause i had a bad grade.

I didn't do much when in school, but I remember one year were in Chemistry, one of my classmates had thrown another classmate's shoe out the window. We were on the third floor, so I'm sure it looked great having a shoe fly out the window to the people below. LOL

I was so well behaved, but the baddest thing I did was with my friends regularly break into the art room at lunch time and mess around.
We had plans to make sure there was a way in and had fake stories for if we got caught and would just spend time playing in there, we were like 11 years old. The closest to being caught was one day a teacher came in and we hid in one of two store rooms, and the teacher got items from the second store room.

I was pretty naughty in school.. I can think of quite a few moments that were interesting yet shameful to look back on!!! What.. an.. idiot. Anyway, one that makes me chuckle slightly was when me and a group of friends asked a teacher if we could finish some coursework on the spare computers in his lesson (plenty of them) and he let all my friends in, but not me. Well..... I saw red, and shouted the C word at the top of my lungs along with some other words and stormed out off campus while he chased me down the stairs. Everyone came out their classroom to see the drama.

The crazy thing is, we ended up on really good terms. He gave me a wonderful university reference, and used to visit me at work to say hello. My friends often remind me I'm the type of person who can scream the C word at a teacher and get away with it

I once purposely kicked the ball over the school fence, then asked if I could go get it, once I exited the school grounds, I kicked the ball around the corner; accidentally on purpose, then just went home lol.
Had the police turn up at my house about 30 minutes later, and got taken back to school in a police car. Mum was on a business trip about 400 miles away.. She was not impressed with me that day... Or any other day thereafter to be honest lmao.

I used to take extended lunch breaks and leave the school grounds during "study times" till once I was caught in town by one of my teachers and lost all my privileges

Well most of you know already know about the time I was being pestered by this boy to buy him some weed... so eventually I'd had enough, took his £10 and gave him a bag of parsley. He pretended to be stoned the next day...


Another story though? Well during years 9 and 10 I always had P.E. as the last lesson on a Friday, and I HATED P.E, so I always used to just skip it (and I got away with it every time as it was after the last registration!)
Anyway, i'd go down to the woods at the bottom of the hill to smoke and either do a bit of homework or mess about for an hour until it was a plausible time to go home.
One day though, I was walking through the woods and I looked up and saw my entire class running down the hill towards me... I DIDN'T REALISE IT WAS "CROSS COUNTRY" DAY! (No idea why they called it that as you didn't even cross a postcode... lol)
I don't think I've ever ran so fast in my life... my P.E. teacher would have been so impressed


Other highlights would be things like accidentally throwing an orange at my Geography teacher... finding a dead body on the grounds (woman from the flats behind apparently, they didn't tell us much about it)… fainting during my science exam... getting locked in the P.E. changing rooms with my friend... getting away with chewing gum in History by telling the teacher that the dentist told me to...

That's barely the tip of the iceberg! Yeah..... i've had an eventful life
