Barry Humphries CBE aka Dame Edna Everage, dies aged 89
Australian comedian, who passed away at a Sydney hospital surrounded by family, had a career stretching back to the 1950s
Joan Rivers a few years ago and now Dame Edna Everage, my two favourite comediannes.

Dame Edna Everage left an obituarary for Barry Humphries in the Daily Telegraph.
It also emerged that The King - a personal friend - phoned Barry Humphries in hospital just hours before his passing.
