Here are 5 fun facts I bet you didn't know about Flamingos:

1. A group of flamingos is called a "flamboyance" or a "colony."
2. The pink color of a flamingo's feathers comes from the pigments in their diet of shrimp, algae, and other small aquatic organisms.
3. Flamingos are filter feeders. They turn their heads upside down and use their specialized bills to filter water and trap tiny food particles.
4. When flying a group, flamingos form a "V" shape to reduce air resistance and conserve energy during long flights.
5. Flamingo chicks are born with grayish feathers and gradually become pink.
