The Lord Tebbit dies aged 94

Former cabinet minister, right-hand man to Baroness Thatcher and IRA bomb victim dies aged 94

RIP The Lord Tebbit.

One of my favourite political grandees, would likely have suceeded Baroness Thatcher as Prime Minister had his career in frontline politics not been cut short by the Brighton bomb attack which nearly killed him and his wife, Lady Tebbit, who was paralysed from the attack. He left the House of Commons in 1992 and retired from the House of Lords in 2022. His wife passed away in 2020.

Most of all though I shall remember his regular Telegraph blog in the 2010s where he would engage in the comments with readers reactions to his latest article.
