Watermark Help

I was just wondering how you add a watermark to an image that you dont want stealing?

Can anyone suggest a free program which does this or a website with a script that does this or any other way??

:| That stops nothing they could take a screenie of the image or just look at the sorce code.. th only real way if to just write over abit of it in paint..

i'de do that, but it ruins the image, plus sum1 mite b able to go over it if they get it in paint

if you're good at php use gd images to create a watermarking script. http://php.net/gd

I was going to suggest that but there is no real way to stop people taking images because they could always just slice the writing out the image.
