Weird? Or Is It Me?

Ok... Im training up my pure mage account. I have so far 14 magic and 11 hit points. But my combat is 9? I thought combat diddnt rise when you dont use attk, def or str. My attk, def and str are all 1/1

hitpoints.......That gets ur lvls up also

Magic and range sometimes to raise your combat lvl, my account only has mage and hits and he lvl 20

Your combat is probably "Mage Based" if you check the tip.it combat calc you'll probably see what I mean.

if you cast magic spells which does not raise hp, then your hp wont go up then combat lvl will be lower, such spells are curse, enchantments and high alch and others

your mage based.. im 30 Mage, 19 hp, 14 range and im 22 combat =p

I would grow a combat level, if I got my Magic to over level 90.

Isn't it like every 4 or 5 levels in combat level up, 1 combat level is gained?

because your melee based - 4 Attk, str, def hp lvls to combat

Mage based - 2 mage lvls to a combat

Range based - 2 range lvls to a combat

Magic spells DO put HP up all combat related stats put HP up, att, str, def, range and mage do
