If you're good it is :) Like Alex said minimum of one hour per day, I reckon good mods put in 2/3 hours per day thus the time consuming

Hmm, that's probably the only thing that puts me off to be honest, not being able to voice my opinions as openly as I can now - though I guess that's changed slightly since I've seen some SMODs being quite... vocal :P

They decide which forum(s) you moderate but after a while you're sometimes given an option to change or moderate more. It gets decided before but sometimes it's changed when you pass the trial.

It all depends on how you use the forum normally. For example, I float around the tech section a fair bit so moderating it wouldn't be too much of an issue for me because I read through most threads anyway, but if I was moderating the entertainment forum it'd be a larger drain on my time. Generally people who moderate their favourite forums (which we generally try to set up) make the best mods because they're doing it to clean up their own sections rather than just "some random section somewhere else on the forum".

Something like that :) Usually I'll ask them to list the sections they want to moderate in order of preference and work around that, and as slowpoke said if a position becomes available in another forum you get first preference :)

My avatar is actually there to change heads, because quite frankly it was not me that was posting in the obama thread, it was my older brother thinking it was funny. I put a password on my computer so my brother can't come on now. And yes you are correct about it not being the first racist post, he has been onto my habboxforum account numerous times. Most of them are mine except the ones that got edited, they where the real racist ones that where meant to offend black people, which my brother seems to think is funny. I wasn't being racist when I was talking about the asians in england, hence why they havn't been edited, all I was stating is that they are a nusense around my area. And the the akon curry song? Even if you weren't on the DNHL, then why would you want to become a MOD if you don't like wasting your time? If you moderate, you'll be doing it for nothing - so if you can't be bothered to fill out an application then surely you couldn't be bothered to moderate.

You only get put on there for bad things such as hackings leaking details etc. If you've never been staff you won't be put on there you just won't be hired. It doesn't mean much because Olleh used to be on there and now he's News Manager. Remove if that's secret information, I'm guessing it's OK because he's staff now :8
