Noooo lol, if you put a V6 in that big of a truck.. you might just sit there and go about 2MPH.

It's a 5.9L Cummins Turbodiesel. It's a L6 engine, ISB. Basically which means it is an engine made for a tractor (Case IH tractor company).

It's pushing about 585HP and 1280 FT/LBs of torque.

Look at your car compared to us English's cars in this thread. We are driving around in little paper bag cars yet when you go to the states they have proper cars. When I went to Florida I could not believe that all the standard taxi's were V8's... Then young drivers have big trucks like yours. I bet you see 2.0 as being tiny? Like you see 2.0 as we would see 1.0 me thinks.

Technology package adds a satellite linked DVD based navigation unit, rear camera, surround sound AND SATELLITE LINKED TEMPERATURE CONTROL.

I require some form of GPS unit in any vehicle I used because I have a poor sense of direction and the job I do requires me to find addresses and it is MUCH easier to put the address into the navigation unit than it is to try and ******** your way there. My Honda has a satellite linked navigation unit and I love it, totally worth the extra $$$ IMO. I bought it used and I was willing to pay extra so I feel buying a car with a factory navigation unit is a good investment when it comes to retail.

My moms other car, a 2006 Lexus GS300 AWD is in the shop getting some work done before winter. It needs some recall work and general maintenance. Since we are "valued Lexus customers" they give us a loaner car. When my mom dropped the Lexus off they gave her an IS250, WITH ALL-SEASON FLOOR MATS (major Lexus recall on these mats) and my mom complained because it wasn't all-wheel-drive, so they gave her an absolutely stunning 2009 RX350, which is a dealer demo. We had a silver RX before and it does not even compare to this one, the color combination is AMAZING.

you can get the import plates which have the bike-sized font but the plates are rectangular, rather than square.. (the same size as a jap plate, or a us plate) - I've got the us spec rear bumper on the golf with the short recess and I'm running an import plate.. it's technically illegal as the car isn't actually an import, but there's a very small chance they'll pick up on it.. They haven't said anything even when I got stopped for my front one. :)

Over here, there is a massive recall (almost 6 million vehicles) because their accelerators stick in the down position. I am an owner of one of these vehicles, I parked it and I drive the Honda!

my dear god. i'm literally in love. it looks like my brothers old car. his was a 1999.5 or 2000 VR6, my god it was a beautiful car. i have two sets of wheels for my accord, both alloys. i have my winters mounted on one set and my summers on my original set. makes the summer alloys look good and i can take my tires off and put them on whenever i want!

yeah cheers it's on ** coilies, backs are as low as they can go with adjusters taken out and the fronts have got about 20mm to go before they're at the bottom, but just leaving it as it is until i get new wheels then I can nail the stance.. can also take the helper springs out if I want to go lower than that :P

Huge fan of your exterior mods, Sunny. I stick to the factory parts, and I try to stay away from the aftermarket stuff. Some people can do it tastefully, like tdi, but I've seen some pretty ugly cars on the road. The VW alloys make the car look 10x better than the old hubcaps.

I would love to get my paws on a Honda front, side and rear under spoiler. One of these days I'm going to install fog lights. FACTORY HONDA OF COURSE.

I watched a video on how to install them in my car and it wasn't that hard, I'm just a little worried about tapping into the wiring harness and cutting into the bumper (they supply a template). I'm not into the boy racer stuff either, that's why I drive a 4 door family sedan, the fact that it's fully optioned is enough modifications for me.

Halfords didn't do a very good job of the wiring though! Nice Mk5 Sunny, I'd reccomend colour coding the black rubstrips to the car though, possibly even with a gti/gt sport front bumper? will look much tidier. Mk5 gti interior too? I had one for sale a while ago.. looked awesome :)

fit it yourself mate.. it's really easy.. but you'll be lucky finding a mk5 gti in shadow blue! phone your insurance company and ask about the gti bumper, say that it's a genuine vw part and not some crappy fiberglass replica.

It's also about the cost of replacing the part. If you have an expensive custom bumper, the cost of that will be considered within your quote. Also things like rims for example, increase the attraction of the car to thieves.

I love the cars they're making, the new Sonata is a beauty. There's just a certain stigma over here with owning one. The 2011 Sonata is ranked highest in its class over here at the moment. Kia is owned by Hyundai and the same stigma is attached with owning a Kia.. then again, there was a certain stigma attached to Honda at one point!

Oh believe me I wanted a Sport!. Unfortunately the insurance for them was absolutely insane :P. I was looking at a 3-door but i went for the 5dr as i want practicality when ferrying friends around :).

Faaast lol. If you can shift perfectly you can expect to hit 60 in around 4.9 - 5.2 seconds and it will do 85mph tops with 15t front sprockets. My first car is gonna feel like a turd. :l

Like 11k new and anything up to that from 4k depending on the age and condition. They hold their value really well which is the main reason I got this. But anyway if you are new to quads then I wouldn't suggest anything bigger than 350cc for your first. Like this will wheelie if you stab the throttle in first/second/third, give it too many revvs when popping the clutch and it will just flip. :P

basically the fog lights were held in with string when i got the car so decided to fix them properly ;D

i did as it goes! the bottom mounts of the bumper are broken off anyways so needs a new one at some point. & cos that side was a pain in the arse cos of the washer bottle, had to go straight up and it made it much easier being right under

I like the truck but I like the full-size Range Rover my moms boyfriend has because it's black and it's less girly. This is a sport and it's white so it's a tad girly. Mind you, it does have a supercharged V8 under the hood that will go like a scolded cat.

You pay all that money for a car and they put the steering wheel in the wrong side? I always thought Land Rover had a very high quality standard.

Loving the engine, my mum gave 3 a test drive, first the proper range rover, it was a Vogue but she said it felt exactly like her old one and she wanted a change, then she tried the supercharged V8 sport, she preferred it but thought it was too fast so we got the top spec TDV8 or something like that which is just the same but a performance diesel. It's still really fast for such a big car, 0-60 is in the 7 seconds zone. :P

- Trim from the driver side door began to come off

My mum also bought a brand new car, few months later she noticed that it didn't seem to accelerate as fast. Then it got to the point where she would floor it and it just didn't want to really go at all so it would creep up to 30, then gaining about 1mph every 2 seconds carry on accelerating. So we took it back and something called the diesel particle filter had become blocked up because the particle filter itself had a fault. From new the fuel cap had a fault which meant you couldn't actually screw the fuel cap in.. Also the tailgate shocks that are suppose to make it easier to lift the tailgate had never been working right from the start so my mum literally had to put all her strength into opening/shutting it. In the midst of all this it was recalled to sort out a fault this particular model had. Just goes to show that you are always likely to have some kind of fault within the car when buying new even if it's such a small fault you never even notice it. I'm not talking about a cheap car here either!

My mom had a Q7 and she hated it, then she got the Ford Explorer and now she's back to the Range Rover. The timing belt snapped in the Q7 so Audi was just like heres your money back and she gave them back the Q7. My mom has since purchased a A5 S-Line, super nice!

Yes, it's illegal. You face a penalty ticket dependent on who pulls you. Unless he uses an excuse of it having dropped of he would get a vehicle defect notice to have one fitted asap.

Ahh! It's not that I thought it wasn't much of a problem, I was just under the impression from someone saying before (can't remember who, t'was a long time ago :P) that it's something you can get pulled quite a few times for untill they take proper action. Thanks Yoshi! :D

it's non endorsable and at worst carries a £60 fine, usually just get a vdrs with a 14 day notice to change it or get let off if I fit it at the roadside. It's in the boot with some cable ties if it comes to it.
