It doesn't make sense why we didn't actually see davros unless he did die in s4
hmm.

Expansion on my theory:

Doctor is the one who destroys the TARDIS, he is the big bad, and he needs to do it to save Amy or something to make Matt Smith cry like a ten year old who just dropped his ice cream.

Thinking about it, theres a huge chance it's Davaros here are my reasons:

We never saw Davros Die
It sounded A LOT like Davros
Last time we saw him he tried to wipe out the universe
And i'm pretty sure the last episode he was in he also used the phrase "there will be silence" or somthing similar

THEORY.

Doctor locked away in Pandorica, beasties fail to realise it's below STONEHENGE, it's unearthed and carried to a Museum. Young Amy (after Eleventh Hour) goes there with her auntie out of curiosity...

CUE TIMEY WIMEY, MASSIVE MIND BENDING

She frees the Doctor from the Pandorica, because he tells her how by going back in time (just after he left her) and telling her how. In 'Flesh and Stone', there's a scene totally out of context where he tells Amy to "remember what I told you when you were seven."

So. She frees the Doctor, because she knows how to, he then goes back in time to tell her how to free him.

After that, he saves everything.

OMG OMG OMG that just made me dead excited and now I've forgotten what I was gonna say! :P

Throughout the series I've been kind of confused because each episode seemed to be completely unrelated to the last but there were little things that carry on through so it's amazing how all the episodes are suddenly coming together.

The Doctor said to Amy "People fall out of the world sometimes but they always leave traces. Little things we can't quite account for. Faces in photographs, luggage, half eaten meals... rings."

It's kind of irritating how the Doctor always says something like this just to completely disregard a law of the universe. For example this allows Rory to come back from "never having existed" but at the same time I can't help smile at Matt Smith because he does those bits so well.

Back onto this episode, it was horrible seeing the Doctor being locked in the box. Must admit I don't completely understand the Rory thing: fair enough memories can be triggered for Amy but if he's just a pigment of her imagination and/or a plastic robot thing, how was he actually the real Rory who loves Amy and wanted her to remember him and also didn't want to turn into the robot thing to kill her?

Also how unnecessary was the flashback the Doctor had of taking the Tardis fragment out of the crack? I mean as soon as there was a mention of something exploding and Van Gogh's painting was discovered it was kind of obvious, especially once the Tardis started going out of control as well.

Somthing said somwhere that what they were were so real and lifelike that they believed their own cover stories, but when the pandorica opens (i reckon) that they just turned back into auros or w.e theyre called.

Because davros is smart, the might need him like they did in s4. Anyway I doubt it is him, I think is it but the chances are low.
besides he may have been cyborgatised to be like 95% dalek

dunno if it's been mentioned before, but i was doing some looking around the net and something so obvious was mentioned which i'm surprised i didn't see it before. river song/amy pond. probably just more than a coincidence as river song also pretended to be cleopatra who was the queen of the nile (which happens to be a river) so possibly reinforces that theres a link between river and amy?

also saw the below picture which shows there are stairs leading to another floor upstairs (you can see that there are also stairs leading downstairs with both amys aswell) but it's only a two story house. so maybe a tardis is attached to her house like in 'the lodger' or something? her house carries some major importance as everything leads back to it, so i wouldn't be surprised if something like that is happening...idk lol.

tbh i wonder if we see alot of the villains, well the bad people cos judoons arent villains.

also just realising if the silurians could get up from the earths core so quickly why did it take ages in the actual episode they had?

I think the Silurians we saw in the Pandorica are from the future, and it's kind of bothering when you consider the fact that the Doctor tried forging an alliance between humans and dem lot.

But their stuff are exactly the same and the "tunnels" they had took them like 10 minutes to get up and that wasn't even to the top. Their technology wouldn't really decrease from like insta teleports to crappy little lift things.

The Silurians appeared in the classic series of Doctor Who so they may be a seperate 'group' to the ones we saw this series.

His future self went back in time to give his screwdriver to Rory, to let his past self out, his past self went forward in time to the Pandorica and put on the AMAZING Fez and get a broom (becoming future Doctor) and going back in tine to give his screwdriver to Rory.

I understood how he got out, its just how the first self got out that isnt explained. and dont bother saying 'timey wimey blah blah blah' because that has been used far too many times in this thread and far too many times for it to be used to explain why something happens

Why hadnt the earth been destroyed in 1600ish (i cant remember) years but the daleks ceased to exist straight after the TARDIS exploded? I know earth was the eye of the storm or whatever, but thats a hell of a long time for it to 'survive', especially considering the fact that they were in a rush to get the pandorica into the centre of the explosion because the universe was shrinking at a noticeably fast speed

102 AD, dawg.

ABOUT TO BLOW YOUR MIND, LISTEN CLOSELY.

The TARDIS kaboomed in Earth, the eye of the storm, touching every bit of history and whatnot. The Daleks are from Skaro, a planet waaay out there, but their fossils remained behind. The fossils were an anomaly.

Here's where I blow your mind.

The Pandorica held every atom of 'Universe 1', and it was closed. Its outer shell was basically 'Boom Universe' where everything takes place. Now, when it opens in the future, it's open to 'Boom Universe', as in... it starts to close in. Think of it as when you're drinking a carton of apple juice, and you keep sucking the air out of it afterwards. The Pandorica closing is basically you stopping sucking the air (but it's obviously still drained of some air, and still deflated). When you open the Pandorica, you carry on sucking the air until you eat the entire carton and choke to death.

The Doctor basically bought you a whole new carton.

Inseriousity.

i honestly have no idea how that answers the question of why the earth was able to stick around for as long as it did

Earth was able to stick around as long as it could because it was at the eye of the storm, thanks to the Pandorica closing with all the universe inside. When they opened the Pandorica again, the eye of the storm started to collapse.

The universe and the eye of the storm cannot co-exist, the Doctor had to throw the Pandorica into the actual storm to cancel out the other.

Moffat is a great writer when he wants to be, the Great episodes have been some of the best ever yet he has made some really really big stinkers to.

So next series will tell if he carries on his genius from the latter half of the series or he goes back to making trash like vampires of venice.

- Doctor Donna, after the Ood episode
- We won't find out who River Song is until next series
- James Corden in an episode, before it was even announced
- There would be a scene in Flesh and Stone where the Doctor from the future shows up (before even I spotted it)

And he's guessed the resolution to every cliffhanger or 'next time' trailer. It kind of ruins the fun, but I was in hysterics watching the Big Bang with him. He was gutted he didn't spot the fez.

At least it ended with the possibility of all those aliens coming back in series 6, as the universe was "rebooted" :)

David Tennant won't return, he's made that clear as he's moved onto bigger things. Neither will John Simm as Stephen Moffat said himself, he's cut off all ties to the previous season.

I'm waiting on a new cyberman design tbh, I really wish he did considering he's like redesigning it all and stuff, but I guess he has no major plans to use them atm (only the quick thing in the pandorica opens).

I kinda wish amy and rory didnt come back, I dont really like any of their acting (amy (karen) is just something to look at). I guess he doesn't want to do the cycle of either the doctor or the companion changing in each series.

I think the BBC have to use the Daleks every series as part of an agreement with the Nation Estate (owns rights to the Daleks). I think that is why that Dalek appeared in The Waters of Mars.

This yo.

I think it would be interesting to either have a series of the Doctor alone, travelling with little Amelia/ children (PEDO-DOC)/ Captain Jack/ Just Rory/ Stop it with the females.

children (PEDO-DOC)

Sarah Jane is the one who brings children to her home and then tells them not to tell others of their adventures. :P

Opera singer Katherine Jenkins is to star in the Doctor Who Christmas special as Amy Pond heads off on honeymoon.
Filming on the seasonal episode, which will also feature veteran actor Michael Gambon - known for his role as Dumbledore in the Harry Potter movies - is getting under way.
Jenkins has been cast in her first acting role in what has been billed as a "fun-filled and heartfelt festive story".
She said: "I'm over the moon to be involved in the Doctor Who Christmas special. I can't quite believe it as it's a part of the family tradition at the Jenkins household.
"I heard the news that I got the role on my 30th birthday and it was the best birthday present ever."
The hour-long show will, as usual, feature Matt Smith as The Doctor, with assistant Amy (Karen Gillan) and new husband Rory Williams (Arthur Darvill). The pair were seen at their wedding at the end of the most recent series last month.
The programme's executive producer, Steven Moffat, said: "We're going for broke with this one. It's all your favourite Christmas movies at once, in an hour, with monsters. And the Doctor. And a honeymoon.
"I've honestly never been so excited about writing anything. I was laughing madly as I typed along to Christmas songs in April. My neighbours loved it so much they all moved away and set up a website demanding my execution. But I'm fairly sure they did it ironically."
Previous Christmas specials have included roles for stars such as Kylie Minogue.
Ben Stephenson, controller of BBC drama commissioning, said: "Matt Smith and Karen Gillan captivated audiences in their debut series and Doctor Who's clever twist on the much-loved A Christmas Carol will thrill BBC One viewers this year with special guest stars Sir Michael Gambon and singing sensation Katherine Jenkins joining Amy and the Doctor for an unforgettable present."

No specifics but apparently, it's gonna be a reworking of 'A Christmas Carol' with a dr who twist.

The BBC has teased viewers about the plot of Steven Moffat's upcoming Doctor Who Christmas special.

Controller of drama commissioning Ben Stephenson revealed that the episode, which guest stars (http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/cult/s7/doctor-who/news/a242097/gambon-jenkins-to-appear-in-who-special.html) Michael Gambon and Katherine Jenkins, will be based on Charles Dickens's 1843 novel A Christmas Carol.

I hope the rumours aren't true that...

Amy will actually die, for good, at the end of the series.

I find her boring and one of the worst companions. But in the last words of David Tennant, I DON'T WANNA GO!

The Doc should have his solo series imo.

I prefer it when the doc has an assistant to bounce off.

I wanna see jack back :D
Also for a lol moffat should just get someone like wilf to just walk behind the doctor and see if anyone notices, but not requiring any reason behind it, he might just be in that area.

Jack coming back would be a great idea alough i do prefer jack in torchwood.

Theyv got to stop with all the female companions, there eye candy but usually not very good actors nor intresting.

Martha was fine it was donna that bugged me.

martha was a douche because they tried making her a rose but she just turned into a pest trying to make out with the doctor all the time and saying "oh i love you, kiss me" at least donna gave us a break with that and tbh i liked donna, funny series it was. I didn't like how after s4 rtd brought her for end of time, gah. I guess he needed wilf in to be a companion who like loving him still and hadnt moved on so yeah, and if you bring wilf it makes sense to bring donna and i guess rtd wanted a complete closure considering he wasnt writing it anymore.

I find amy mediocre, not amazing but not great. Her ****tiness makes up for her bad character. Amy Pond just isn't funny nor a Rose and doesnt suit the dr tbh.

I'd say so far the main (so no christmas specials)

rose (s2 only)
donna tied with jack
amy/rory
martha

martha was just so boring, didnt like freemas acting either.

Jack
Rose / Mickey
Amy / Rory
Martha
Dona

ooh donna ftw. I agree with mr gomez, I thought s4 was really funny and tragic ending to her story, shame they ruined it by bringing her back for End of Time (:() mine goes:

donna
rose
rory
jack
martha
amy
