just got home from being in and going through central brum today. when i went in this morning, cleanup was well under way. a few banks that had been broken into were under police tape but everywhere just seemed to be getting on with things. the public atmosphere was nervy if i'm honest. anyway, just came back through birmingham city centre and everywhere is rammed. offices are being shut early, roads are full. a 20 minute journey took an hour and 40. also saw a gang of about 30-40 teens with bandana's over their face walking down broad st into central birmingham carrying tonnes of bags for life. ohdear.

Good point, but in my opinion it won't reduce numbers at all. There are plenty of other very popular instant messaging apps on phones, whatsapp probably being the most well known. Blackberry Messenger can only be used between Blackberrys but whatsapp connects all smartphones

Just heard from my parents (they're copperrrs) that quite alot of officers from Devon & Cornwall police have gone to London. The shock they get when they realize theres more to policing than locking up youths driving over 50mph on country lanes or underage drinking. Oh my.
