k this boy srsly starting to annoy me

well basically we have been friends since beginning of high skl really but last yr October time everyone fell out with me so he's all "you only need me anyway" so we've been rly good friends since
but then a few month ago he told another of our friends that he liked me n asked what i thought, even though he knew i had a bf at the time :S so i was like "i don't like u like that" so yerrrr since then it's been a bit awkward between us but i keep the peace otherwise he thinks somethings wrong with me n constantly ******* asks "are u ok" "whats wrong" when there's nothing he's just an annoying ******

n yeh well another of our friend fell out with him recently, prob coz he's so annoyin so he's like stuck to me :@ i kno it's only fair coz when everyone fell out with me he didnt but seriously he's so annoying. if we're walkin together i'll stay behind coz they walk faster n he constantly looks behind him to see i'm still there :S n like i sometimes hang with these other people so i'm walkin over to meet them n he's like "where u goin" n i have to make excuses but no matter what i say it's "i'll come"

then in philosophy he totally ruins my plans. like him n this other girl wanted to leave the class n just left me which is fine because i prefer to work in groups with people i don't know, makes me work better, so i didn't really mind. but then the teacher said he couldn't leave so he came back to our class after a week. i'd already started with this group so he's like "well you're working with me" n i'm like nahhhh i'm working with these so he said "fine i'll work with you guys too" n i'm just like THERE'S NO ******* ROOM!! so he grabs my book and writes down all my notes and says "tough" i was so mad tho coz i'd done it all by myself n wanted to n now he's forcin me to be with him n im just sick of it, i feel bad coz when every1 else fell out with me he was the only one there but he's a ******* pest :'( how can i tell him to gtho basically without hurtin his feelings thx

you just need to take him to one side and be as nice as possible because at the moment it doesn't sound like he's getting the message that he's way too cling (crabby ;)). say to him that you want to be friends still and you value his friendship because he was there for you when you needed someone but that you need some space sometimes.

Id spike his drink with something powerful as that doesnt hurt his feelings neccessarily.

Er other than that why dont you just tell him just cos you dont like him it doesnt mean hes a bad looking kid, boost his confidence and tell him to have a bash at some other girls as your sure he'll succeed.

And for the learny thing tell him you want to concentrate and succeed and that might mean working apart for the benefit of your education. If he doesnt understand that he deserves to have his feelings pwned.

Oh dear, feeling sorry for you Jen :( Just don't make a scene, talk to him and say you need some space, or tell him to leave you alone, I know he had your back before but he can't do this to you, he's dragging you down with him so say no!

Just tell him that he's too clingy and it's making you not enjoy spending time with him as much, tell him you don't want to fall out with him over it because he was there for you when no one else was but you need your space.

Don't even bother about saving his feelings he sounds like a right *Removed* and all that. From all of this it doesn't sound like you really want to stay his friend anyway so no harm done to yourself

I used to sort of have an issue like this... and ended up not answering my phone for months. The person after me used to ring me and ask if I wanted to 'do' something and whenever I said no they sort of had a tantrum and moan down the phone...the best thing to do which I did and can be seen as sort of mean is to freeze them out of your life... only see or talk to him when totally necessary slowly you'll lose contact.

hell no i'm not going near him when he has alcohol!! he's pervy :( all he talks about is sex aswell he makes me sickkkk n nah, he's not good looking + i'm not a good liar loooool

the person that recently fell out with him has done just that, just totally ignored his calls/texts and walked away from him. when he started texting her i was telling him not to because it's annoying from my experience with him. i don't want to throw him out my life completely and it'd be easy to ignore him but i'd feel mean =/ i mean he had a go at me for putting him to like 8th on top friends on bebo n i'm top on his :$

Jen you're going to have to be honest, you're gonna have to do stuff in life you don't like yeah. Maybe if you tell him he'll actually realise there's something he's doing wrong :S Don't always give guys sympathy cause we sometimes like to make the other person feel their in the wrong lol. Just tell him straight, nicely if you have to but just get your message across to him :S

im not sure there's a 'nice' way to say it. i think you ought to be brutally honest. thats the only way you get through to these kinds of people. if that makes you a *****, so be it.

Socialise with him more just one to one,

it sounds like his clingy-ness is because he doesn't want to feel apart or distant from you especially after you rejected him which is what probably has occurred due to the awkward elements of it.

Your desperate need to get away from him only makes him feel more at a distant from you so he will cling on tighter. So by socialising with him one to one he will let off eventually

When I say socialise I don't mean wait for him to call you, I mean you need to arrange it with him yourself. Not just say yes to things when he asks. That way he will know that you two are still fairly close.

After a while socialise with a group of people and everything should return back to normal.

hm i don't feel bad anymore coz he text me some really stupid nasty things which i can handle and gave it back twice as bad so it's good now, at least i can say it to him face-to-face he'll just tell me to **** off n he'll walk away because he can only do it through text/msn/group of people, so i don't mind and i'm glad we're no longer friends.

Exactly, it kind of makes you the better person because if he clearly can't defend himself irl so does it on msn just cause he feels more safe, but if he has something to say to you he should do it to your face, has he seriously never had a gf?
