Uhm. How would that make a difference in the quality of their music? Fans or no fans, most of their songs sound very 'slapped-together' even before they had their 15 minutes of shame fame, and you're only lying to yourself if you say MCR was better before more people started listening to them.

I won't call them talentless, because obviously they must be doing something right to have so many people listen to them. Maybe it's the fact that people are so easy to manipulate through a couple of well-chosen lyrics that relate to them in some way and the fact that the music industry has become almost stagnant around a pseudo-ethos method of writing music, in which they're no longer producing music that they started out with but making cheap, catchy songs that'll score them a couple of suckers fans and their money to boot.

I still like them, I just think their music dosen't sound as good so I prefer their other albums.
