C'mon, if you are called Bomb-Head, you can't really expect people to take you seriously can you?

On-Topic: I think infracting people for a genuine mistake is just dumb. Why doesn't each forum/section appoint their own mods, which then have to be approved by an admin or something. Then, the web-dev section won't have people that don't know about web design moderating it, and something like the Runescape section won't have Runescape noobs moderating it either, something they have complained about.

You are exceedingly repetitive. The new moderator should look at the concepts instead of moving a thread like on markup principles to a coding forum to do with programming and server-side basis.

Long were the days where people like Michael-W was moderator, he was pretty good and when A4AOwen was a moderator of the actual computer section and Joshua was super moderator.

Now nothing is done and infractions are given out like rep.

Personally I agree with you on that, should mainly only mod a category if you have an interest in that.

It is pointless insulting the moderation, I brought this up in a thread for the reason for people to discuss their views on this moderation as a whole. I have no complains about the moderation, except that they currently moderate certain sections wrongly, like there was a big hoof-hah when :Jaimie was fired or something and they was landed with somebody from outside the Runescape forum, thats all we want.

Apparently not, because most people still post here to discuss it.

You should PM Seacat when you have problems with the way forums are moderated aswell. You can pm A4AOwen aswell and Ostinato.

I agree with you for a bit on that, but forums could pick lazy mods or mods who are friends with the others and won't treat rule breakers the way they should.
So like Jamie said, mods should only mod forums they've interest in, mods can change forums if they want, so they should use that option.

So basically I HAVE to PM management and not let people have their say? I think not, I put this thread here so the majority of people can comment, therfore I think I shouldn't PM Seacat or some other admin. I want to post it here, this is comments about Habbox, I have a comment about the moderation of Habbox, I post here in the correct forum, yet i'm being moaned at by some idiotic moderator who if he says this is in the wrong forum clearly contradicts himself.

Well done there micky.blue.eyes you have just achieved a A* in stupidity and repeating your own post many times to raise post count.

Well Geek I think you are entitled to your opinions as long as it is on moderation
and not a personal attack on the mods and being rude about them doesn't really move the thread on. I think that to moderate a forum the mod does have to be interested in it and I can see your point of view from one side. I have very little knowledge of scripting so I have to ask people who do have when i need to while going through that forum.

Yours is quite a specialist section so some of the things you say do make sense. I can see the other point of view too in that it is only Admin/Managers that can move mods or recruit so it might be worthwhile pming them your concerns as well

Thanks for the decent answer. I mean not to attack moderators as I have no problems with them, but when they keep repeating what I already know and insulting my intelligence by saying I don't know how to report when I gave reason for it in my original post it makes me wonder exactly how moderation is chosen.

    Edit:

I wasn't being rude, I was telling the truth, so I don't believe I deserved that infraction, I feel he should have an infraction as he called me stupid before by saying I didn't know how to use the report button.

What's to stop you from treating your friends better than others? That's why I said they should be approved by an admin, but we all know that won't happen. It's too much work for all of them :\

Well then maybe they should get a mod for the computers and web-design that actually knows some stuff about computers and web-design?
