Firemaking may sound simple but it's annoying to have to bank, run to a spot, burn 27 logs, repeat. It takes a while and you can't really take your eyes of the screen and do something else.
Think about the skills that people have gotten to 99 in about a week since their release like Hunter. I'd say it's easy because I enjoy it and it's interesting.

Dan, what are you on? Farming takes ages, 35 minutes for some potatoes to grow. And you only get 100 xp for them anyway.

construction isn't hard to get .. all you do is stand there and make larders over and over again or somethin .. i'd say agility/farming is hardest since theres not a way to 'power train' and they both take time, rc isn't that hard since you can power train or whatsoever .. Depends on wealth for some, if your poor smithing, herblore, prayer will take ages to level, but more money you use on it it becomes easier.

Crating, Cooking and woodcutting are easiest.
Mining, Farming, and Rcing hardest [specially when ur level 3 ]
