I'm having trouble understanding what you mean. Do you have any idea how much of a pain in the rear it is to fill out an Infraction form, after checking previous history - then for the S Mods to check EVERYTHING through?

Most Infractions get reversed at that step, so a limited number of fair Infractions get through. Of those, the borderline ones - the members usually get the benefit of the doubt and the truly unfair ones are reversed.

So the system doesn't "favour" anyone. And for the record, I held this view before I became a Mod

Right, because we benefit from the threads made about us, angry and abusive PMs, and members with a grudge because of one little infraction

What do you suggest we replace it with? If its a better system it might be looked into but as of now you're saying get rid of that and think up a new system :p No matter what you do, the "bias" that you suggest is there will still be there because unless we can teach a machine to somehow process and judge what is fair which is pretty hard since human judgement is needed, there's no 100% unbiased system :p However SMods do try their best

I disagree where you say mods wont reverse it because it might offend the other mod, well this isn't true seeing as if an infraction gets reversed the mod wouldnt really bother =/ and maybe 90% of the time you tried getting them reversed they were maybe actually fair infractions.

As said above if your going to say change the system then suggest what it could be replaced with, something that is already created by a vb dev or something.

Its the principal of the matter though, get an unfair infraction then some1 is gonna kick up a fuss to try and get it removed, even if others disagree.
