how many super mods do you want???

I doubt it, as a big team of SMODS can cover all rulebreaking on the forum imedianlty without waiting for someone with higher permissions.

but along with that, we will get all these new power mad s'mods that will think that because they have all these new permissions that they can use, they will just have to use them just for the sake of it.

I would assume so as management may not feel theyre experienced enough for SMod or perhaps specific sections need a bit of extra attention for a while before anyone who moderates that section can move onto other sections as an SMod.

Also, we have a strict set of guidelines to follow, we cannot just go about power abusing, if we do, we see sierk/MADs nasty side

Too many smods is guranteed power abuse .. you already have smods who already give out infractions for stupid reasons.

As said here, MODs will be Moderators in training, learning all the tools and makeing sure they are extreamly accurate with how everything works. And if you gain a high enough experience and prove to be a good team member it's likely they will hire them onto the s.mod team.

I find this highly ironic that after nearly 3 months since one of the last moderation reports said 'I will be promoting 1-2 people to the smod in the next few days'.

And the recent events that followed, you suddenly spring into action, and play favourites with those who didn't sign the thread in the forum moderators section.

Well i find it hard to believe that someone who has been here less than 2 months, and in their moderation reports made no attempt to become smod gets the position.

The moderation standard is falling on this forum, and fast, thats probly why you've got alot of silly infractions being issued.

This is my last words on the saga, as im sick of management dodging my questions via threads and PM, and 'brushing it up under the carpet'.

NintendoNews gave me a infraction for posting a link to my site where you can get download links for stuff - saying its illegal.
But its NOT illegal. If I hosted the files on my site, then it would be. He didnt even reply to my PM .. rude lil kid.
But the thing is, an admin and NintendoNews posted a link to a site where you can stream movies. Thats more illegal than posting links. So why not infraction yourself, and everyone who posts links to bittorrent sites?

Its just power abuse to get more mod logs. Annnnnd a lot of ex-admins (who were very high up) even agree.
If a moderator becomes a friend with a FM (especially AGM), its easier to get promoted and let off.

I gave TomLegend a bad rep for making 2 pointless posts. He sent me a PM with "haha I can remove the bad rep shammmee."
And then he said "I never use this forum anyway"

Well if he doesnt use it, why is he admin?

Yes yes, thats what I am doing :rolleyes:. You love finding bad things about everything. I understand that you were fired and you are finding hard to take in and deal with but you don't need to make posts like that.

Smods are never usually picked by how popular they are. Sierk or someone higher than FM usually pick the smods.
I did'nt know sierk or the FM well when I became smod. They pick you depending on the number of mod logs you have and how active you are etc ... kinda explains why mods give out pointless infractions (looks at NintendoNews who gave me a infraction for something admins have done and himself).

There will be mods yes.

If its not removed, then the smod checking it obviously agrees with the decision made to give the infraction.

Points that you have made that I am referring to are in bold.
Point 1: That rule is no longer in place now .

Point 2: Smods and admins don't need mod logs.

Point 3: If you had the power to remove your bad rep, I bet you a million dollars you would remove it. I don't think tomlegend would remove it but I bet you would .
