Super Moderators & Wayne. being lazy?

I'm still waiting for my pointless reputation to be removed, and for a warning to be reversed. It's pathetic.

Sorry, why employ so many Smods if they won't actually do the work they are set?

The "Reported Reputations and Infractions" havent been looked at? And there are like 6 Super Moderators.

Also I got 2 pointless bad reps - and because Wayne. is friends with them, he didnt remove it. Unfair? That person bad repped someone else and it was pointless, her's wasnt removed either.

Also NintendoNews infractioned me 3-4 days ago for something I posted 6 months ago. A bit pointless dont you agree?
I was infractioned for calling Tash. stupid ... but she doesnt mind as she knows I am joking. He knew that but still infractioned me.



If she was offended by me calling her stupid, wouldnt she have reported me?

And if a reputation was not reversed, I think we should get a reason for it, instead of the post just being deleted.

NintendoNews shouldn't have given that infraction, but we all make mistakes. I don't know the whole situation but I'm guessing the thread got bumped and he saw you broke the rule and infracted you without looking at the date and time of the post.
Reversing unfair infractions isn't our only job, we have many more things to do as you know and they have a higher priority.
I have exams for the next 2 weeks and I'm already revising so I'm quite busy,
I tend to check the reported posts first as they should be dealt with first in my opinion, I then look at the report to smod thread. I usually don't have time to check if people reported infractions after checking the reported posts and report to smods thread.

Whenever smods are online, they just look at other threads. Not all smods have exams either. They have time to look at posts which are 6 months old, but not posts which are new?

That happened once and you got infracted for it, but the infraction got reversed so I don't get why you're still complaining. And it's not like we look at old posts every moment we're on line because you get infracted for 1 old post.

I requested a name change on my other account like a week ago, it still hasn't been changed.

The thing is not all Super Moderators have exam. You would think they would hire people from different countries and different time zones? I dont understand how Super Moderators can look through posts which are 6 months old, and not look at 5 reported infractions.
And about you have exams ... well looking for posts to infract which are 6 months old takes longer than looking at 5 reported infractions.

Looking at old posts which you can infract shows your desperation.

I thought hiring more super moderators would get things done faster, but its slowed it down.

It's not slowing things down, we're just very busy.
We can't hire people from different time zones if there aren't any people who could become a super moderator. (But I'm sure you can give some examples of people who could become a super moderator and who do live in a different time zone.) Most people who live in different time zones visit the habbox.us and its forum and they mod there.

Like to do the name changes then?

It's not our job to deal with those. Wayne is very busy right now and his real life is more important than some pointless reps.

I wasnt moaning about my reputation problem not being looked at, I was saying how he doesnt remove bad reps which were given out by his friends.

Also, not ALL Smods hav exams. If they do then I apologise.

Well I have made this mistake myself but the fact is that Smods should check the post is 2 weeks or less - there is no excuse really except to apologise.

I do think some of the moderating and complaint handling is getting quite harsh i.e. infracting somebody for saying pee'd off which is not filtered and is a word in its own right that isn't filtered not even on Habbo Hotel e.g. Pee peed peeing. Even the dictionary defines it as a 'nice way' of expressing the word Urine. The person was not using it as an insult he was merely saying he was peed off.

Other the other hand I saw an infraction being reversed for somebody who told somebody by way of abbreviated letters to get the **** off the forum which is clearly avoiding the filter and against the rules and if nothing else is very rude! See section 3 of the link below :S

As I have said before its a good idea that new mods receive mentoring and looking after by way of supervision otherwise these things do happen.

The "Request your VIP features here" hasn't been updated for a few days, fair enough Wayne has exams irl and revision (I think?) but still.. there's other management online..

On the odd occasion where when an agreement couldn't be reached the FM would decide. The important thing though is the members and to make sure the infractions/warnings are fair and if necessary sort them out not who is to blame for issuing a wrong infraction. I have always thought the saying 'those who make no mistakes do no work' quite a good one.

Well when I got infracted for saying 'pikey' as a joke when it's been said for ages and then another moderator said it's highly innapropiete and then other smods did too and now it's a word you get infractioned for when it wasn't before. :rolleyes:

Yes but it was sorted and was more the exception than the rule, I think. As i said I can only comment on what happened when I was there. =]
