This is the maximum your phone line can support" or something along those lines.

That's why I find it odd that people have issues with Orange, because the service they provide for the family is incredibly good
Ahh, I had it back when it was Wanadoo too.
I think you've been quite lucky with your service.

How comes people are having issues lol?! I guess I had a few minor issues with the 2mb connection, where it would disconnect once a fortnight, but it wasn't disruptive. Must be very lucky

I was thinking of moving from AOL (having same trouble) but after spending ages looking for an alternative, i figured it was easier just too stick out the downtime and wait for them to move servers. Bought myself a T-Mobile modem, incase it goes down, (so far not had to use it) £4 a day. Easy!
I found that with most of the big ones, Sky, BT, Virgin etc. there were plenty of people who rated them and plenty who hated them, just a lottery of which side you'll be on.

That's cheap! Not sure how much my family pays towards our internet... But we may have loyalty benefits for being with them since Freeserve

I agree with you 24. The big ones are expected to do a good service, and when they don't they are immediately hated. You cannot really get a good answer as to which one you should go for, you just have to pick one and hope it works ok for you in your area.

I'm on Orange, have been since freeserve/wanadoo/any other names they've had.
No complaints though! Found customer support to be quite good, actually. Fast & reliable. Just been moved up to 8mb.
