Italy - For the damn good zombie movies, which have popped out!
Zombie Flesh Eaters, etc.
China - For Jackie Chan & Chow Yun Fat
Japan - For Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, and Letters from Iwo Jima.
Asia isnt a country.
Takashi Miike directed Ichi The Killer didn't he? I remember watching it near christmas in 2006.It's not the kinda film I would normally watch, but I have to admit, I was impressed.
Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon is Chinese and Letters from Iwo Jima is American.
China for martial arts. CHINA.![]()

China for martial arts. CHINA..
Miike did indeed direct Ichi The Killer/ Korishiya 1. It's a brilliant film with an absolutely amazing ending, and is worth an instant re-watch if you have the DVD, because if you turn the English dubbing on after watching the subtitled original, the voice actors are all common as muck.
I put CTHD In Chinese didn't I? Crap.Asia isnt a country.

I meant Curse Of The Golden Flower!!
And Letters From Iwo Jima, is a bit of both actually.![]()
Japan and China. Easily.
For animation value, horror, etc.
Classics like The Eye, The Ring, Battle Royale and Studio Ghibli films.
Jackie Chan was once a great interest as an actor for me.
My fascination in Asian languages probably sways my decision a bit ;D
I like the kind've blockbuster films from the US, Like I really enjoyed 'I Am Legend' (Despite the weak ending)
My favourite film of all time is 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory', Which I believe was made in the UK
PM me for help.
Asia is my second foreign land for horror; I like their modern day use of classic extreme traits of the genre. Asian horror is greatly influenced by Italy's giallis.
Gwokamolathey make good silent films (Y) im not jokin!
Back for a while![]()
Directed, produced and distributed by Americans.
IMDb says 'Country: USA'
I have been after the DVD for quite some time. Once I get it I'll be sure to check out how crap the dub is, as usual.:eusa_clap Well spotted, I just would like you to know that I am fully aware that Asia is a continent.
