    Adam, that's incorrect. There are limits on the amount of cigarettes you are allowed to take on a place. I think the maximum on one flight I've been on is 400. There is definitely a limit on ALL airlines, regarding the amount of cigarettes you can take on board.

    There is not a limit on the amount of cigarettes you can take through security onboard the aircraft. There may however be limits on what you can PURCHASE in the airport to take onboard.

    If you don't believe me then it's no skin off my nose, but I can assure you that you will be able to take as many as you wish through security.

    Adam's right.

    The limit is on duty free **** so that you don't take e.g. 3k and sell them in the other country for cheaper than normal retail.

    there's not a limit, but there's a limit at customs (if you take over the limit at customs you will have to pay duty on them)
