You can still buy motherboards with AGP slots and they can still run the latest Duel processor.
PCI-E is its slot replacement... and is found on the most recent high quality motherboards.
Plenty of decent graphics cards have come out on AGP and still do, you normally just have to spend extra compared what you would pay for the same quality in PCI-E

Nvidia stopped doing AGP versions a while back. They never even did an AGP version of any of the 8 series cards as far as i'm aware, so i'm not too sure on the accuracy of the specs posted by the thread starter. ATi have probably stopped AGP cards now, but i'm pretty sure they did a few 3xxx cards in AGP.

AGP done 8200 from the 8 series from what im aware, but thats latest one from what i remember
