opensuse > ubuntu.

opensuse > ubuntu.
I'm an alcoholic student, I troll naked with a parrot on my shoulder call Jeff.
It's better to migrate from being a utter nub to more superior with linux, doesn't blank out as much on stupid kernel panics which ubuntu experiences if you type a wrong letter in a command, doesn't relay on crappy sudo. You get a proper linux feel with opensuse unlike being mothered with ubuntu.

Perhaps I'll install it on vBox and give it a go.It's better to migrate from being a utter nub to more superior with linux, doesn't blank out as much on stupid kernel panics which ubuntu experiences if you type a wrong letter in a command, doesn't relay on crappy sudo. I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.
I compared the specs of that to the Toshiba L35 which has been OSX86'd and it has worked. Your specs are basically the same...
Good news is you should be able to get it running. Your video card seems the same as the L35.
Bad news is that people have had a lot of trouble with Realtek audio cards. And that a Hackintosh install is bloody hard, obviously.
If you use this link: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/in...lite_L35-S2174, a lot of Googling for drivers and tutorials for the Audio and Graphics card hacks... Well, an OS X Leopard install should be possible.
But it's really damn difficult to Hackintosh if you don't have 2 computers. You need to keep downloading things and transferring them...
My advice is go ahead, but keep your Recovery CD's or a Ubuntu CD for installing if this Hackintosh fails.
i've been here for over 8 years and i don't know why

Maybe if the openSuSE installer would even load on my laptop instead of showing a black screen![]()
I like things rather straight forward, so I won't bother with OSx86I compared the specs of that to the Toshiba L35 which has been OSX86'd and it has worked. Your specs are basically the same...
