The thing is college is more for specialist subjects and courses, where as 6th form is more for continuations of school topics. So, it depends on what course you want to do and if you'de value that more than being heavily social.

My school 6th form is basically a college, it lets you go home when you dont have periods and the teachers actually do treat you like adults, well from what I've seen cause Im only in Year 11 atm. I dont know about England/Wales/Scotland but in Northern Ireland College a.k.a Tech is where the people who've done badly in their GCSE's go.

I choose College over Sixth Form - If its the sixth form at your school, then you don't get to meet new people.

All my tutors have previously had jobs in the subjects they teach, so you get to learn more specific subjects

Depends on how long you wish to spend in Education, I don't think you can go straight from Sixth form to University? You usually have to do a 2 year course at College.

Im not sure, but it shouldn't effect it. In essence they are the same thing, it depends on what subjects you're studying.
