    Nope wasn't downloading anything just was on speedtest nothing else.

    Only like 200 people live in my village and its really not close to anything, we only got the internet in like 2001. It takes forever to download stuff but using the internet on a whole is fine.

    Anyway PS3 online is fine, doesn't lag at all lol .. jst the downloads take hours :-)

    You are getting 300kb/s upload so its not anything to do with you living in a rural area. You should contact BT and say you are not happy with the download speed. Ask to be upgraded to the 16MB package for free.
