I couldn't see if anyone answered this question, but it's 500 points.

The chances of you being able to redeem your Star Points (what you get for registering a game) from Club Nintendo for Wii Points (what you use to buy channels and games) are rediculously low if the Star Point system is as bad as it was not long ago, where they're never in stock.

Next time you're in town you could buy a Wii Points Card OR buy them from Amazon.co.uk and use that to get a Wii Points Card.

    Amazon.co.uk - 2000 Wii Point Card - £14.69

Wii Points Card Shop - Requires a Log-in

2000 Points would buy you the Internet Channel for 500 points and a few good games Not that bad for £14.69. Quite reasonable really compared to what the Wii Shop Channel is offering for 3000 Wii Points for more than what you can get for 4000

The Wii Points or the Stars? Wii Points last forever by the looks of things, I've had my points sitting on there for months and they managed to survive when the Wii got it's memory wiped when it broke. As for stars, there were rumours that they expire which I think might be true, but it doesn't appear any of my stars have disappeared, so not too sure about that I'm affraid

Save your stars for the 1000 Wii Points on that site I listed which you have to log-in for, you can only redeem stars for points once a day

Every Wii has got a Wi-Fi connection, and able to access the internet if you put your details. Wireless connection is also built in so you don't need a wireless adapter.

If you want to go on a website from your Wii, then you can purchase the Internet Channel which currently costs 1,500 Wii Points.

You can access sites like YouTube, Hotmail and HabboxForum

If you want to play a friend on a game, the internet wi-fi connection is free. No costs apply
