Ronaldo's preferred position is RM as said by him but he can play striker when needed. Welbeck and Macheda are still learning and will be used as subs for a while yet. Tevez isn't strong in the air like Berbanob is so we'd need a striker like Carew, as we throw a lot of balls into the box.

I don't think Ronaldo will go but then again, he did this last season. I don't think that Ribery will be a good replacement. Ribery would be a great replacement if Giggs was leaving as they both like to sit down the left but I can't see that happening for a bit.
